DARK GARDEN CORSETS
I did not realize quite how strong My corset fetish is until after a fitting last week with Autumn, the Proprietress of Dark Garden Corsetry in San Francisco. I ordered three new corsets when I visited Dark Garden last Fall using a combination of gift certificates and cash gifts. These new corsets arrived during the holidays and I have been wearing two of them regularly -- a Corselette made of a black brocade fabric with a "diamond" pattern and a Cupid style waist-cincher made of red silk satin. The third corset, however, a custom fitted black leather Alexandra, needed additional alterations. Autumn and I spent some time trying to figure out the exact adjustments via phone, e-mail, and pictures which was a slow process considering our packed schedules. As good fortune would have it, Autumn's travels brought her to New York City twice over the past couple of months and we were able to perform the needed fittings in My dungeon. Along with My stunning new leather corset, I also sent three older corsets back to the shop with Autumn to be re-laced.
Autumn returned to My dungeon last week with My four corsets in tow and each one of them fits perfectly and looks powerfully sexy. Autumn and I started taking pictures of My new and newly re-laced corsets and it was something of a revelation to see so many of My corsets on display, knowing that they comprised only a fraction of My extensive collection. I currently have two specific Dark Garden corsets posted on My Gift List and after I complete a full inventory, you should expect more to be added.
For those who are unfamiliar with Dark Garden Corsetry, you can read My two "Updates" dated September 8, 2014 and November 6, 2015 for a little more information but briefly, Dark Garden Unique Corsetry in San Francisco is a woman-owned business that was established in 1989. They create custom and ready-to-wear corsets of the highest quality and durability. All work -- from design concept to garment completion -- is done in their Hayes Valley shop. A few of My custom-made Dark Garden corsets are over 14 years old and still look and wear like new. I do have corsets from other sources in My collection, however, the craftsmanship simply does not compare to that of the Ladies at Dark Garden.
Dark Garden designs and creates styles for males as well as females. I encourage all My sissy-maids and sluts, leather boys, cross-dressers, corset fetishists, bondage lovers -- basically everyone -- to work with Me to create the appropriate piece for your position. Autumn gets to New York City somewhat regularly and I will announce her next visit on My website so fittings can be scheduled.

MISTRESSES LUNCH AND MORE
I am back in New York City and about to dive into a pile of e-mails and paperwork. This does not mean, however, that I will get to all e-mails today....or even this week. If I have missed a message about an immediate scheduling matter, you may send a polite reminder. Otherwise, continue to patiently wait or -- better yet -- book time to see, serve and/or suffer for Me in-person (or schedule a phone session).
My recent adventures included a trip to Atlanta where I enjoyed a delicious lunch with Mistress Ayn and Mistress Ultra Violet. It is a pleasure to spend time with both of these women, and they are two of the most dependable Pro-Dommes with whom I have ever worked. Unfortunately, I cannot speak so highly of My experience with the submissives, slaves and masochists in Atlanta and, as a true dominate female, this is disheartening. I will continue to visit Atlanta every few months indefinitely and I hope that more subs and sluts will start to shine and prove themselves worthy of My time and attention. For starters, read My website, follow the instructions, and plan ahead. I have spent a substantial amount of time, energy, and money creating a website that details what you can expect with Me and what is required of you. Every session is a special event for Me and it should be for you as well, treat it as such. Do not be a pathetic slug who wastes My time because you have no personal discipline.
Meanwhile, in New England, a praiseworthy submissive who has carefully studied My website had the perfect gift waiting for Me during a brief stopover in New York City -- a bottle of Pratima's Anti-Stress Aroma Oil which was marked as a "high priority" item on My "Gift List." The oil offered a nice little respite during various modes of often tiring transportation last week. This submissive also sent a note of apology for not seeing the "no gift wrapping" instructions on My website before ordering the gift. Fortunately, Pratima uses eco-friendly wrapping; however, the girl has learned her lesson and will get it correct next time. Discovering submissives who are so attentive, thoughtful, appreciative, and detail-oriented is truly a pleasure, and it is satisfying to know that I do not yet have to permanently shut the stable doors.
After My brief pass through the dungeon last week, I headed north to The Berkshires for a bullwhipping workshop with master whip cracker Robert Dante. Just prior to the workshop, though, I received notice that it had to be canceled due to flooding of the venue after torrential rain storms hit the area. So, I found Myself instead in the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. My eye was caught by Norman Rockwell's illustration of a Mommy spanking a boy on the cover of a "Saturday Evening Post" dated 1933. I of course was tickled to see this image since it is My belief that if all naughty boys received proper spankings, the world would be a much more civilized place.
Before returning to New York City, I spent some time lounging on the porch (which is the "social hub") of the historic Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. I also stopped in a shop that sells only one-of-a-kind items handcrafted by artists who live within the region for the most part. I saw two stunning pens made by a Massachusetts artist, one of which I now want. I think the shop's proprietor said the pens were made of pine burl found in in the surrounding Berkshires woods. Rushed at the time, I quickly snapped a picture and grabbed a business card so I could track down the pen at a later time. One-of-a-kind items are difficult to include on My "Gift List" for what I think are obvious reasons. RECENTLY RECEIVED GIFTS
I recently received a Fetters Suspension Harness from Mr. S Leather and a book, "Voluptuous Panic: The Erotic World of Weimar Berlin" by Mel Gordon. I hope to find the time to finish reading the book before My upcoming trip to Residenz Avalon in Berlin, Germany.
Now, I need a new computer monitor, 20-22 inches with built-in speakers to help with My administrative tasks. I have added one to My Amazon.com Wish List; however, I am not overly concerned with getting that exact model, just something with similar specifications. Hand-delivered is always a nice touch.

NEW LOUIE FOXX BULLWHIP
I received My new 6 foot 12 plait leather bullwhip from Louie Foxx last week (see April 27, 2016 "Update"), and it is breathtaking....in many ways. It truly is something special to behold the result of such fine craftsmanship, especially in this day and age when finding almost anything completely handmade by a single artisan is rare. Even though My small Manhattan dungeon is not the ideal setting size-wise to wield a 6-foot bullwhip, I was keen to start breaking in My new acquisition. With willing subject at hand and adrenaline flowing, the target was prepared and the lashes commenced. The expertly-tight braiding of the whip was stiff and slightly awkward at first, but with every throw and "crack," the feel of My new whip grew more supple and vibrant. Knowing that an outdoor location was essential, I begrudgingly put down My new bullwhip, and I exuberantly completed the whipping with shorter selections from My whip collection.

OWK BOOTS & PETS
I took one of My pets out for a walk the other day. This particular pet is so obedient that he was allowed off his leash for a little while. The park we went to tends to be muddy so I wore My "OWK boots" -- these are the sturdy black leather boots that My slave presented to Me prior to our departure for The OWK (Other World Kingdom) in 2000. They are the same boots that I wore in the Slave Hunts at OWK and they have held up quite well over the years. I sat and enjoyed the cool, sunny day as My pet sniffed around the park.

WHIP MAKER LOUIE FOXX
In preparation for our trip to Residenz Avalon in Berlin, Germany this summer, My slave wanted to get Me a new bullwhip. After extensive research, we decided to contact whip maker Louie Foxx in Washington state about a black 6 foot 12 plait bullwhip, and what an excellent decision that was. Louie was quick to respond and has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He is completely professional, very knowledgeable and he is a really nice person. Louie finished My new whip in less than a week and it should arrive in My hands any day now. My slave and I are both eager (to put it mildly) to experience the new bullwhip.

BALL-STRETCHERS & SHOES
My "boy from the farm" arrived at My dungeon last week with two ball-stretchers. The one he wore in -- surgical steel with a mirror finish and a weight of 1 Pound, 10 ounces -- required an Allen wrench to remove. In a rush to serve his Mistress, boy-from-the-farm left this tool on his hotel bed. To My astonishment, and with an amusing amount of struggle on his part, boy-from-the-farm managed to extricate the crucial screw from the steel ball-stretcher with a Phillips-head screwdriver I provided. The steel ball-stretcher was replaced by a blue silicone ball-stretcher, and the rest of the evening's events shall remain forever private memories between Mistress and boy-from-the-farm.
On a different day this past week, My sub and I took a leisurely stroll through My neighborhood. We stopped in the Christian Louboutin Boutique on Madison Avenue where I was surprised and elated to see the new shade of red for the upcoming season of Louboutin shoes. It is a deeper, darker tone of red that I prefer to the bright red which has been the most recent offering. I wholeheartedly agreed with My sub's observation that the available style was "very smart looking," and we quickly snatched a pair of red patent leather pumps, along with a low-heeled style for long-distance walking around the city.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WEEK
Things are hopping at My dungeon. I would attribute it to Spring Fever, but the region is trying to thaw from a multi-day deep freeze. Before the unseasonable cold snap hit, a slave and I spent a most perfect day last week exploring the few remaining "mom-and-pop" BDSM and fetish shops in Manhattan. The Leather Man and Purple Passion comprised the majority of the list (I will save My thoughts on chain stores and overdevelopment for another time). The Leather Man caters primarily to the gay leather crowd and My discovery of this iconic shop many years ago had a wonderfully profound impact on My life. The Leather Man celebrated its 50th anniversary last year and has been located on Christopher Street in the West Village the entire time. This is a remarkable feat for any small business and I hope The Leather Man is around for us leather folks to relish for many more decades to come.
I am also pleased to report that Purple Passion is still in business after 20+ years. Purple Passion is New York City’s premier BDSM, fetish clothing, and adult toy store. It's focus is the Fetish S/M lifestyle and the merchandise carried is serious -- no novelties here. Hilton is the founder and owner of Purple Passion and he is a true pillar of the BDSM and fetish community. Hilton and I met though our mutual friend Mistress Venus approximately 20 years ago. I do not see Hilton often, only sporadically over the years in his NYC shop and at his vendor's booth during various BDSM events along the East Coast of the U.S.A. However, we always pick up right where we left off as if no time has passed, and such was the case again last week. Hilton and I enjoyed a relatively lengthy chat as My slave positioned himself at the appropriate distance, obediently awaiting My beck and call.
Along with window-shopping and socializing, a few staple items were procured for My dungeon: Twisted Monk hemp rope, traditional school canes in a brownish color I have not seen before, riding crop, leather and spiked bras, and Wolford and Leg Avenue stockings and tights.
Having recently returned from the Western United States, I have been inspired to wear My cowboy boots and turquoise jewelry. I snapped a picture of one boot during a cab ride with My obedient slave on our shopping day last week. So many boots, so little time....
For reasons I will leave to your imagination, I celebrated one slave's birthday not with a birthday spanking, but with an equally festive birthday back whipping.
Finally for now, along with all the BDSM action that is happening, I have been actively planning My next trip to Residenz Avalon in Berlin and Atlanta. I will post details on My website as they become available.

BACK IN NYC / SKI SLAVE
Thanks to an outstanding slave of Mine, I just had an amazing Spring Skiing trip and stay in Utah, U.S.A., where "The Greatest Snow on Earth" can be found. For those in the know, you may recognize the traditional Champagne sabering and toast atop the mountains to celebrate the transition from day to night. This particular evening's toast also included a little prayer to the Snow Goddess for fresh powder and She indulged us most splendidly.
Sadly, the majority of My ski slaves have either retired from the sport or, for various reasons, become unavailable for ski-boy duties. Thus, I am keeping My eyes open for potential ski valets. Those interested will have to work hard to earn this position and along with handling all My luggage and equipment (ski and otherwise), will be responsible for all expenses (transportation, accommodations, meals, lift tickets, professional massages, etc.) and tribute for My time away from My dungeon.
I take My skiing seriously and you should too (snowboarders are eligible). Ideally, you will ski (or board) at or beyond My skill level; however, your skiing expertise is not as important as your reliability, capacity to serve, and overall enthusiasm and positive attitude. If you love the slopes as much as I, but are unable to keep up with Me for any reason, staying bound, chained and/or locked in My suite, or fetching things from town/ski village as I ski a full day are some possible options I will consider for you. Those who can give an amazing foot massage after a day in ski boots may have a slight advantage. There is time to prove yourself before the start of next ski season (in the Northern Hemisphere).
Onto other matters, having just returned from an exhilarating ski trip where I happily avoided computers to the best of My ability, My inbox is now full of unread e-mails. I am also booked solid through next week with sessions. Therefore, I will be returning e-mails slowly, looking for immediate scheduling issues first. If you have requested a session and I do not get back to you by this Friday, April 1, you may send a short, polite reminder.

My Upcoming Schedule
The remainder of February and most of March 2016 is booked for Me. I will be completely unavailable for sessions and not checking e-mail regularly from March 11-27, 2016. Check My "Calendar" page for My regularly updated availability.
Wise devotees planned ahead and have already booked time with Me during the coming weeks. As explained on My "Calendar" and "For My Established subs" pages, if you have a proven record of reliability, you may request a session on a "yellow date" and I will try to rearrange My schedule to fit you in. HOWEVER, if I do rework My schedule and book a session with you on a "yellow date," you will be required to submit the full tribute for the time you booked if you cancel (or try to change or "postpone") the session, regardless of how much notice is given or how long and/or well I know you.

First, New York City is presently in the middle of a blizzard -- as is a good portion of the Eastern seaboard of the United States -- and the region has shut down. My sessions and social engagements canceled for this weekend so I now have some time to post an "update" and reply to a few e-mails. If you do not hear from Me today, be patient, I will eventually get to all e-mails worthy of My attention and time. As always, scheduling matters -- specifically the scheduling of sessions with reliable patrons -- take priority.
Now, I was in Atlanta, Georgia last week and enjoyed the great pleasure of meeting Mistress Ayn and Mistress Ultra Violet. I found both of these ladies to be consummate professionals, discreet and lovely to spend time with -- not to mention beautiful and skilled ProDommes. We did not engage in double-Domme sessions during this visit, but perhaps that will become an option during My future trips to Atlanta. I rented space at Atlanta Dungeon for My sessions. The website talks about "Sisterhood, Community and respect for the quality of Professional Domination" and I am happy to report that I experienced all this first-hand. I was made to feel right at home as soon as I arrived at Atlanta Dungeon for a tour of the space.
I have had and used My own private dungeon and BDSM equipment for over 20 years, so renting a dungeon space is an unfamiliar experience for Me. It pleased Me immensely that My first session at Atlanta Dungeon was with an exemplary submissive who has followed Me since My DDI (Domination Directory International) days, but who has never been able to get to New York City to serve Me in person. While I did just write "exemplary submissive," that does not negate the fact that male subjects -- no matter how well-behaved and capable their façade -- are horny, mischievous creatures, the wisest of who know that it takes the right woman to tame and redirect their carnal energy toward higher purposes. This delightful devotee and I both knew that a solid caning was exactly what he needed (and received), and that was only a small part of what made My afternoon so satisfying.
I plan to return to Atlanta again in a few months and I will post information here as the details are confirmed.

Recently Received Gifts
Although not glamourous, administrative work is a large part of a professional Dominatrix's life. It is as necessary and as important for a Dominatrix in maintaining her business as it is for any other type of professional or company, large or small. Generally speaking, professional Dominatrixes and FemDommes receive tribute (income) only for the time they grant you in person (possibly including phone and/or webcam sessions). They do not receive it for all the behind-the-scenes work, time and effort that goes into preparing themselves and their spaces for those magically wonderful session hours. This is a fact of which many clients -- even the genuinely submissive -- seem oblivious, resulting in awkward and unpleasant moments. One common example, some individuals do not book enough time with their Domme and want to linger in the dungeon or on the phone after the booked session time is over.
Then there are the exceptional individuals who truly value, respect and are grateful for the time of their Domina. They understand what a rare gift it is to find such a special relationship dynamic and they treat it like the precious gem that it is. The core of My stable is comprised of these outstanding submissives whose appreciation and gratitude I felt stronger than ever during the holidays.
I spent an enormous amount of time toward the end of December attempting to catch up on e-mails and other administrative matters. As I pecked away at My keyboard (still not getting to all the e-mails yet), gifts arrived to make My life easier, more enjoyable and happier. These were not Christmas gifts, but rather thoughtful expressions of devotion, recognition and practical servitude.
